Updates to CBDC Innovate Site

Hello Ripple CBDC Innovate Builders,

Thank you for registering for Ripple’s CBDC Innovate Challenge! We’re excited that you’ve chosen to come along with us for this journey, and we’re very happy to have you and the rest of your team onboard.

We wanted to email you today to let you know that we’ve updated Ripple CBDC Innovate’s site to bring more clarity to our challenge. We know that a lot of you had some questions about the two different phases.

The CBDC Innovate Challenge will be held in two phases. For further clarity:

  • The “open-to-the-public” Phase I of CBDC Innovate will run until August 25, 2022. 

  • Phase I winners will be announced and moved to Phase II on September 8, 2022. 

  • The invite-only Phase II starts on September 8 and ends on October 31, 2022.

  • Phase II winners will be announced in mid-November 2022. 

  • We’ve updated our judging criteria to include the use of XRPL-native features
